EXOTICS

In addition to our large herd of high quality white tail deer, Triple Creek Ranch has a number of herds of exotics for keen trophy hunters. Hunters may choose to include any of the following in their hunt at Triple Creek Ranch:

Red Stag

Known for being one of the largest deer in the world, our beautiful red stag won't disappoint - in addition to being the classic trophy hunt, we've been told ours provide some of the best tasting deer meat hunters have ever had.

Fallow

Originally native to Asia before being introduced to Europe, and then the US, fallows are attractive trophy due to their unique spotted coats and palmate antler. Triple Creek Ranch is hope to herds of white fallow.

Axis

Otherwise known as chital or spotted deer, axis deer are another exotic known for their appealing spotted coat. An increasingly popular species to hunt in Texas due to the boom in population since introduction in the 1930s, herds of the smaller axis deer can be found alongside the white tails in the high fenced hunting area.

Scimitar Oryx

Originally native to Northern Africa, where they are now extinct in the wild, the scimitar oryx is another animal at Triple Creek Ranch that is truly exotic in appearance. The oryx at the Ranch have beautifully contrasting white with reddish brown chests, and long curved horns that are the thing of legends.
